Interim results presentation

Making their second appearance on Hardman Talks, we were delighted to host Palace Capital on 26th November for a results webinar and Q&A session.

Despite a slight increase in LTV to >40%, as experts in regional property, Palace Capital offers investors both income and capital growth. With properties located in key growth areas in the UK, the outlook remains positive.

25% income reversion within portfolio

  • Repositioning city centre office assets with short WAULT of 2.8yrs
  • +4.2m pa potential future income growth

Capital growth upside

  • £10m surplus forecast at Hudson Quarter, York, will increase NAV per share by 5%
  • Value creation opportunities identified within the portfolio
  • Medium-term development pipeline

The presentation took place on the back of their recently announced interim results, with an adjusted EPS of 7.3p, Q2 dividend of 2.5p declared, and >90% expected rent collection for December, as a few of the financial highlights to mention. Operationally, the flagship Hudson Quarter development remains on track and within budget, for a March 2021 completion date.

Questions from our live audience included interest in M&A activity, which properties in the portfolio would be considered as “trading properties’, as well as more detail on LTV targets for 2021, and structural development plans for Hudson Quarter given COVID-19 implications and higher demand for properties with more outdoor space.

We look forward to hosting more live events with Palace Capital soon.
